  • Overview

    The FP&A Manager will be responsible for facilitating and executing on all aspects of Watchfires regular forecasts, annual budget and the creation of a long-term financial planning process. This position will also play a lead role in the selection and implementation of strategic software solutions to facilitate these forecasting processes, eventually acting as system expert and champion. Additional responsibilities will include assisting in creating executive level reporting dashboard and standard presentations, revenue and cost center business partnering helping to ensure the accuracy and realization of forecasting processes and facilitating business case processes (capital expenditure requests).

    Responsibilities

    • Driving all forward-looking financial forecasts (annual budget, inter-year forecasts, long term financial plan) including:
      • Process documentation
      • User training
      • Process improvements
      • Dashboards and standard reporting to cost center owners and executives
    • Planning/Budgeting/Forecasting system owner and administrator
    • Ensure 100% reconciliation between ERP and all other financial reporting systems
    • Facilitation of Capital Asset Requisition process
    • Price/Volume/Mix Reporting
    • Other ad hoc projects and responsibilities delegated by CFO.

    Required Education/Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in finance, financial systems, corporate reporting or FP&A related roles.
    • CPA or CMA preferred.
    • Prior experience with financial planning or reporting applications.
    • Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills; proficient in all other Microsoft Office applications.
    • Excellent analytical abilities.
    • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Ability to work in ambiguous roles/responsibilities to execute on an aligned vision for the future.
    • Comfortable interacting and partnering with senior leadership.
    • Prior private equity experience a plus.
